Often we do something the way we\u2019ve always done it\u2014the slow way\u2014because it just seems too difficult or scary to try to automate it. Is there a cure?\"<\/p>\n<p>There is a cure, <a href=\"http:\/\/cmosshoptalk.com\/2015\/08\/18\/jack-lyon-talks-about-better-word-processing\/\" target=\"_blank\">as I explain in my interview<\/a> with <em>CMOS \"<\/em>Shop Talk.\" I grew up as a book editor by following the <em>Chicago Manual of Style,<\/em> so it was a real thrill for me to do the interview.
